It distinguishes itself, however, by its simultaneous focus on professional practice. The didactic concept consists of a combination of practical assignments completed before the class meets (the exact content is tailored to the participant's situation) and class sessions that prompt new insights, allowing participants to hone the results of their respective assignments. Within this didactic concept, each topic is addressed both generally and in the context of the participant's own organisation, so that no angle or idea will escape their attention when they must formulate or evaluate policy in connection with their own work.
The concept also provides for attention to the various roles and positions within a financial company. As a result, participants will be empowered in gaining oversight of the organisation as a whole, as well as seeing things from the perspective of other people with whom they interact within the organisation, such as executives, members of the supervisory board, commercial managers, compliance and risk officers, auditors and (internal and external) supervisors. Up-to-date knowledge and understanding will be offered as well, enabling participants to arrive at their own independent conclusions.
